Apart from all these seasonal activities, another springtime activity
has started - preparation of the MRA's journal On the Hill. As usual, I am
looking for (and expecting) contributions covering episodes from any of the past 60 years - tragic, sad, exciting, heroic, thoughtful and/or funny - with or without photographs.

I also hope for incidents which I can use in the regular feature Times Past. So if anybody can raid their memory and let me have a story from 1954 (disaster of Navy climbers on the Ben, perhaps?), 1964 (USAF Voodoos crash near Creach Bheinn, or Army climber killed on Wadi Makeiras?), 1974 (Dhaulagiri IV exped?), or 1984 they would be particularly welcome. 1944 and 1994 - the first and the last - are already spoken for, thanks to Tom Scudamore and Alister Haveron. I trust you are not all going to be beaten by a greybeard and a callow youth.
