Agree with or disagree with this campaign I am placing information of the Royal British Legion's latest crusade on behalf of the humble serviceman. This is the latest statement from the RBL. I must stress however this site is apolitical and remains neutral in all affairs and is just providing this information for your enlightenment.

"We have officially launched the campaign and now is the time for action.

We have attracted the attention of both the media and the general public, but we now need your help to reach those that can enact change: Members of Parliament. The only way politicians will sit up and notice us is if they receive a deluge of letters.

Therefore, the best thing you can do to help is to meet with or write to your local MP. If you go to www.thecovenant.org.uk and click on the ‘Take action’ button you will be guided through what we hope you might say, and how you might go about doing it.

Secondly, we ask that you also encourage your family, friends and colleagues to write individually to their Member of Parliament as well. If you can direct them towards www.thecovenant.org.uk we would be delighted.
