Brian Canfer and I went to Cosford on Wednesday for an interview with the Museum Director.
The first thing I noticed whilst waiting was that they had none of our book WHENSOEVER on their shelves. We have asked them to speak to their buyer and see if we can get this rectified as they have books on everything else to do with the RAF. He is going to speak to the buyer later this month, so with a bit of luck our book will be in both Museums.

Now regarding our display, they are waiting for confirmation that they have £13 million for a new Museum at Cosford and this will be in June/July time. If they do get it and it is likely they will, then we could see the display in there by 2006/7. It is anticipated that the new museum will be opened by a member of the Royal Family, either Prince Philip or the boss herself. (Hopefully the latter as she has never been to Cosford). We had a look at the plans and the model which are on show and they are very impressive with only 4 or 5 aircraft outside, the rest will be suspended from the roof. That's about 8 or 9 aircraft hanging about. It should be good and hopefully we will be part of it!
If anyone has more kit tucked away PLEASE lets have it and make our show a good one.
