MOUNTAIN RESCUE - BEN NEVIS About 6.30 pm on Wednesday 24th March 2004, a telephone call was received at Fort William Police station, made from a mobile phone. The call was from a party of three hillwalkers who had become lost in white out conditions whilst walking up the Tourist path, Ben Nevis. Six members of Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team were mobilised and located the walkers. They were then walked to safety.The walkers were not injured as a result of the incident. The three walkers rescued were. 1. Kristian Kristiansen, (31), East Hebburn, Tyne and Wear. 2. Rory Rickford,(20), Newcastle. 3. Daniel Rowan,(20), Newcastle. Provided by: Northern Constabulary
