| MOUNTAIN INCIDENT - CAIRNGORM About 4pm on Sunday 28th March 2004, a telephone call was received at Aviemore Police Station from a member of staff at Glenmore Lodge, intimating that a woman had sustained a leg injury near to BYNACK STABLES, Cairngorm and was presently walking slowly off the hill. A rescue helicopter was in the area on exercise and uplifted the woman to Glenmore Lodge. She was then taken to Aviemore Health Centre where a fractured right ankle was diagnosed. She did not require hospitalisation. The woman is Charmain Heaton from Beckingham, near Doncaster, South Yorkshire, who has now returned home. Provided by: Northern Constabulary |
