    Crash on Creag Meagaidh

    The crash was on the lower slopes of Creag Meagaidh 25 miles NE of Fort William. A/c was Sea King XZ585, Call sign SK 138. 202 Sqn, Lossiemouth. It crashed during filming for BBC Scotland’s TV series `RESCUE` on Thursday 28th January 1989. Pilot - Steve Hodgson, Co-Pilot - Paul Redfearn & crew were slightly injured, and all including the camera crew were picked up by a Wessex after a climber raised the alarm.
    The Sea King was recovered, totally rebuilt and is now flying again.
